So everyone who was using the Yahoo finance API was basically using it illegally with or without knowing it. The exchanges finally caught wind of it and it wasn’t until shortly after that the API got shut down. I want to create application using C# that will download the data for the different currency pairs from yahoo finance. The values i required are bid, ask, LastValue, High, Low, Change, ChangeinPercentage etc. and i am using the service provided by yahoo as below, The Historical Forex Data service is straightforward to use: Select the required instrument from the Symbol list. Click on the Load data button. The application will fetch the data from the server and will compose the files for export. When you are ready with the options, click the Load data button.
